AWS IoT

It can be defined in a single line i.e A system of pervasive devices connecting the physical world to cloud. To elaborate this in simple words, just imagine you are working with some devices with electronics, sensors embedded in it. So they have the power to collect devices and if such physical devices are connected to internet and cloud. It would be easy to analyze the data. This process is called InterntofThings. The definition is not limited to just capturing the data but adding the value to data using different techniques so that business is enhanced and better security is achieved. Vision behind AWS IoT is make customers know everything about state of their devices. Companies such as canary, BMW Group, Amway, enel, RioTinto, Nestle, Sony and Denso is availing AWS IoT services to boost their business and knowing requirements of customers in a better way. AWS Iot can be classified into two parts. Part 1 includes AmazonFreeRTOS and Amazon GreenGrass and Part 2 includes AWS IoT core, AWS IoT Device Management, AWS IoT Device Defender and AWS Analytics. Functions of Part 1 includes Secure connection to devices, Gather data and take intelligent actions locally even when internet connectivity is down. Features of part 2 includes onboard diverse and large fleet of devices,maintaining their health and securing fleets. AWS Analytics is used for analyzing Iot and also integrates with Amazon Quick Sight for data visualisation.
